The Challenge
UpRock operates a DePIN network where everyday users share unused bandwidth to collect geo-specific data for AI clients. Early beta users loved the "set it and forget it" promise, but uptime, token visibility, and clarity on privacy left trust gaps.
The app needed to explain how $UPT rewards, staking, and withdrawal windows worked, while assuring users that their personal browsing and files were never touched. A fragmented frontend and thin analytics made it hard to see why users churned.
Our Solution
We rebuilt the earning experience on a Next.js + Node stack with real-time node health, bandwidth usage caps, and device safety checks surfaced in a single dashboard.
A reusable design system clarifies what traffic flows through user nodes, how $UPT accrues, and when staking or withdrawals are available, reducing confusion about token liquidity.
Growth analytics now map install-to-earn funnels, flagging battery or bandwidth pain points and highlighting where users drop before keeping the app running.
The Results
Active earning nodes more than doubled as trust messaging, live status, and staking timelines became transparent.
Support volume dropped 38% as users gained clear answers on privacy (no personal history tracked), token availability, and expected earnings by device quality.
